Quote of the Month for March

I love this quote from Michael W. Twitty, culinary historian and author of The Cooking Gene: A Journey Through African American Culinary History in the Old South:

I so get it! My grandmother was the most amazing cook I've ever known, and I'd give anything to cook like she did.  (She was also an awesome Grandma and one of my favorite people in the whole world. I miss her!)
